i like saturdays and the rocket summer..

blue skies and the morning's air.

i like you, you like me.

i made it through the first week back to school.

it will take some time to get into the swing of things

and to get into a routine

but i have a feeling this will be a good semester.

i'm taking anthropology online

and our first assignment is due today.

but i'm ordering my books online,

because it's so much cheaper,

so i don't have my book to read for my assignment.

i went to the library to see if they had one,

so i could make a copy of the first chapter or just read it.

but they didn't.

the only place i could find the book was in the bookstore.

so, i plopped down on the floor of the bookstore

with my notes and read the chapter.

a guy that worked there walked past me,

looked at me confused, and said-

'are you doing your homework?'

i explained my situation and told him i was, indeed,

doing my homework.

he laughed and told me to 'go right at it.'

oh i'm all over it mister.

gotta do what you gotta do. taking it to drastic measures.

i love that college gives me so many

possibilities for great stories.
on another note, i'm totally hating that it's still winter.

i can't wait for this summer. so many potential adventures.

one of the benefits of being in college..

is that school is over by april 23.
